Pigging is the ideal solution to prevent product loss and is increasingly used in sanitary process systems. Liag has developed several pigging systems, namely the DMV system, suitable for medium with a high viscosity. The SMV system is especially suitable for the cosmetics and beverage industry.
The ARC shutter and the DMV pigging system are a perfect combination. The ARC and shutter work together to create a good seal, allowing the DMV pig to pass flawlessly. The DMV pigging system works with a 2-seal lip pig and has a hygienic design. This type of pig provides an excellent cleaning effect and is virtually free from wear. The pigs are very flexible and can pass a tight radius (R = 1.5 x D). Optionally, the pigs are equipped with a magnet for location and control.
